The World Youth Games have been the major annual gathering point for Swedish Athletics for many years. The charm of the VU Games is the wonderful mix of competitors. You can see world stars at one end of the arena while enthusiastic beginners swarm at the other. In total, just over 3,000 participants make around 8,000 starts during the three competition days. International participation has also increased year by year and last year we passed 40% participation from 27 countries. This means fiercer competition and gives the competition an increasingly international feel.

Stævnet er et prioritet 2, dvs. atleter skal selv betale for deltagelse, og klubben sender ikke trænere med til stævnet.
